Arts Every Day is proud to host this arts-integration teacher training faciliated by artist and educator Elisabeth Gambino. In this workshop you will review philosophy and core actions of global education, including connecting to others, empathizing, developing cross-cultural communication skills, and taking action locally and globally.

Come learn about the upcoming globalized collaborative “Eco-News Art Project” between Baltimore and Rotterdam, the Netherlands where students plan, write, create, and publish an environmental video news show, with artist Kathie DiStefano. Gambino will go over resources in global education using platforms such as iearn, sister city committees, and other resources. You will also develop plans for integrating project-based learning and global citizenship into your classroom.
