Vocalist Tony Ziesat and pianist Stef Scaggiari are returning to Germano's with a program that is a synthesis of two of their previous cabaret shows, "The Roller Coaster Of Love" and "Rhythm And Blues And All That Jazz."
Enjoy an Arabic 1001 Magical Nights Fairy Tale themed fun filled evening at Lithuanian Hall. This is our fifth annual fund raising event. The program will include:

AmiciMusic, the award-winning chamber music organization dedicated to performing great music in intimate spaces and non-traditional venues, presents a wonderful program of piano trios influenced by folk music from around the world. Violinist Emmanuel Borowsky and cellist Frances Borowsky join AmiciMusic's Artistic Director Daniel Weiser on piano on this fun journey from the Slovakian countryside (Dvorak's "Dumky" Trio) to the streets of Buenos Aires (Piazzolla's "Four Seasons") and finally to the diverse sounds of America from ragtime to dixie to Klezmer (Paul Schoenfield's "Cafe Music").
This Howard Community College Faculty Recital explores the full color palette that flute, cello, and piano create together. Each composer on this program interprets the possibilities differently, from the 19th-century Romanticism of Louise Farrenc, to modern Argentinian tangos by Astor Piazzolla, to Hillary Tann’s 21st-century illustrations of Italian Renaissance gardens.

Praised by the New York Times for his “passion and poetry,” pianist Andrew Tyson is emerging as a distinctive musical voice. He won the Young Concert Artists International Auditions in 2011 and received an Avery Fisher Career Grant in 2013. He was also a prizewinner at the 2013 Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition of Belgium, and he won the Terence Judd-Hallé Orchestra Prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition. He graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music and earned his master’s degree at the Juilliard School.

Robert Cantrell, bass-baritone, is often praised for his rich, powerful sound and lyrical musical interpretations. A local favorite, Cantrell promises to deliver an engaging and dynamic performance, exhibiting great vocal control and sensitivity. His program, accompanied by Daniel Lau, will feature works by Handel, Mozart, Strauss, Ibert, and more.

The Monday Night Music series presents Lynne Griffith, music lecturer, on horn. Griffith has performed extensively in the United States and abroad with the Singapore Symphony. She is also a frequent performer with Chamber Music on the Hill at McDaniel and is a member of the Mistral Winds.
This collaborative recital will explore the connection between music and literature in the stunning George Peabody Library! Come hear music inspired by Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, Ovid, and many more! Featuring Caleb Bradley on oboe and Sam Bessen on horn. $10 suggested donation. Gaetano Donizetti: L'elisir d'amore
One of Donizetti’s most beloved scores, this charming comedy of a young man’s pursuit of love will be re-imagined on a college campus in the early 1960s.
Together, John and Kristy Cocuzzi bring decades of youthful enthusiasm and experience to any performance. Both are known for successful workshops with students, building knowledge of the jazz idiom and inspiration to the next generation. Since they joined forces in 2013, they have been all over the United States and beyond, appearing at festivals, house parties, concerts, and cruises together. They are entertaining to watch, a pleasure to hear, and they put a new spin on many of the old familiar melodies we all love.
The Flute Choir and small ensembles formed from the Flute Choir perform under the direction of Linda Kirkpatrick, senior lecturer in music.
