Vocalist Tony Ziesat and pianist Stef Scaggiari are returning to Germano's with a program that is a synthesis of two of their previous cabaret shows, "The Roller Coaster Of Love" and "Rhythm And Blues And All That Jazz."

Many of the compositions that constitute the Great American Songbook and jazz standards include metaphors for the extreme, opposing feelings of being in love, including hot vs. cold, high vs. low, clarity vs. bewilderment, love as an addictive intoxicant, the cycle of the seasons, love as a magical spell, and sunshine vs. stormy weather. In honor of our location in Little Italy, an underlying theme of the program will be an exploration of the Mediterranean approach to love: EMBRACING the mercurial, wild journey of romance.

In observance of Veterans Day, a donation will be made to K-9s For Warriors, which is an organization that uses therapeutic service dogs to assist combat veterans who are struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder.
