Silent Film and Organ Concert
Enjoy a screening of the 1928 silent film, “Steamboat Bill Jr.,” starring Buster Keaton, in the sanctuary at Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church. During the film, Michael Britt will provide live, improvised organ accompaniment on Brown Memorial's historic 1931 Skinner organ. Britt is Minister of Music at Brown Memorial and performs nationwide as a theatre organist and silent film accompanist. This event is free but suggested donations of $15 adults, $10 students and $25 families will be accepted to benefit Brown Memorial's Capital Appeal to renovate its historic building.
