The Recital and Evensong Series at St. David’s continues on November 13, featuring local opera artists Courtney Kalbacker, Soprano, and Jeffrey Gates, Bass-Baritone, in a vocal recital beginning at 4:30. The evening of music continues at 5:00 pm with the Service of Evensong, featuring the mystical St. Paul’s Evening Service by Herbert Howells and Franz Joseph Haydn sung by the Choir of St. David’s under the direction of Douglas Buchanan, choirmaster and organist. The entire event is free and open to the public; a suggested donation of $15 ($10 students/retirees) benefits the musicians and the music series.
