You are invited to explore painting as a process of discovery. Through guided mindfulness and intuitive mark making, participants will use color, water, and layered gestures to create paintings that emerge organically over time.

Rather than focusing on a final image, this experience emphasizes presence, curiosity, and the unfolding of personal expression. Each layer becomes part of the painting’s story, reflecting both inner experience and creative response in the moment. To draw inspiration, we will look at Hung Liu’s Mother and Child by Grand Canal(2020) on view in the Museum.

All materials will be provided and no prior painting experience is needed.
