"pen to paper" is an online group for fiction and nonfiction writers. Novices and old hands are equally welcome. This is a moderated discussion specifically about the craft and process of writing. Sample topics include POV, shape vs. plot, show vs. tell, hallmarks of good dialogue, writing evocative narrative, fictional devices in nonfiction, and whatever moves or challenges you in your creative process. Selling or plugging anything--books or services--is strictly prohibited. If our first session is successful, this will be repeated.
