Join Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake for a heartwarming Thanksgiving celebration at the 66th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner & Resource Fair. This longstanding tradition will take place at the Baltimore Convention Center on November 22, 2023, from 11:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Time: 3:30pm to 5:00pm
Join us on November 25, 2023, at 3:30 PM, as the original Christkind from Nuremberg arrives by boat at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The Christkind will walk down the promenade, accompanied by the Raven's Tent, creating a magical atmosphere. At 4:00 PM, our Opening Ceremony begins in our heated tent. The Ceremony will include the Christkind’s iconic prologue as well as an enchanting performance by the Reservoir High School Chamber Choir.

This weekend, you can experience German culture and traditions by watching the Schuhplattler Dancers of "S.u.G.T.V. Washingtonia" and “Alpenrose Schuhplattler Verein”. They will perform on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Ballet Chesapeake brings the magic of the holidays to life with beloved classic "The Nutcracker."
Christmas Village is a family event! To embrace our love for the families of Charm City, we planned an entire day loaded with kids' activities from Potato Sack Races and Cornhole to Egg and Spoon Races. Furthermore, we invite you to join us inside our tent for a performance by the White Marsh Ballet Academy at 1:00 pm. Snap a picture with our mascot Gingy and take a ride on our carousel!
This holiday season, Ballet Theatre of Maryland will present The Nutcracker in Annapolis, Hampstead, and Westminster, MD. This yearly tradition from Maryland’s premier ballet company will delight audiences with its whimsical story,
entertaining characters, and festive sets and costumes. In addition to offering performances at
two new venues this season, BTM will once again hold a Sugar Plum Party before every Sunday
BTM’s Nutcracker, which features choreography by former director Dianna Cuatto, retells
A klezmer and jazz-filled romp through the 5th night of Hanukkah!!

Enjoy a Sunday afternoon drop-in art-making and movie screening of The Muppet Christmas Carol at MCHC. Former Muppet Workshop manager Peter MacKennan shares stories about the creation of the film’s puppets and costumes, and answers your questions about the movie’s special effects. This program is suitable for all ages. We’ll provide the popcorn!

Ballet Chesapeake will perform an abridged version of their complete professional staging of The Nutcracker ballet with intricate costumes and sets along with Tchaikovsky’s timeless score.
This version is child-friendly and includes live narration of the Nutcracker story to accompany dancers.
This special program serves to expose the very young to the wonder and enchantment of a ballet performance while teaching basic theater etiquette and table manners.
