As we continue with One Book Baltimore programming 7th and 8th graders in Baltimore City are invited to join the Modell Lyric as they present this three-session workshop about taking your poetry from the page to the stage. Learn to write poetry that speaks truth to who you are, and then to perform it in your own unique voice. Taught by Ron Kipling Williams, Education Manager, the Modell Lyric.
Tres Amigas a jazz and samba trio formed by DMV favorites Maija Rejman, Candice Bostwick and Ghada Rihani. Together they have been wowing crowds in the metropolitan area with their sinuous song stylings and the sheer illumination of their vocals. You will be so pleased you decided to spend a couple of hours with Tres Amigas! This great trio is accompanied by Wayne Wilentz, piano; David Jernigan, bass; and Leland Nakamura on drums.

UMBC's Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture (CADVC) presents CODEX, featuring works by Brandon Ables, Jason Charney, Mandy Morrison, and Adan Rodriguez, four emerging visual artists from the Baltimore/Washington region. Encompassing a wide range of technologies and materials, their works embody the elements of social practice and community involvement as well as critiques on contemporary culture.
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra introduces BSO Sessions – a new digital concert series that follows the BSO’s journey in bringing inspirational works of orchestral repertoire to life as its musicians return to the stage. Programs will include beloved masterpieces; music by living composers and composers of color; and hidden treasures in orchestral repertoire, with episodes premiering October 14 at 8 pm and released weekly thereafter.
