A mic, spotlight and a good story is all you need to take a room full of people on a journey. Storytelling is one the most entertaining and impactful forms of live performance. Baltimore Story Fest will highlight the best and brightest storytellers in the region. Storytellers create a tapestry with their words that bring audiences into their worlds. Sometimes you laugh. Sometimes you cry. Sometimes you do both.
Baltimore City Public Art Commission (PAC) Meetings will be held on the 3rd Friday of each month from 10AM – 11:30AM administering Baltimore's Percent-for-Public-Art Program, as well as the review and approval of all gifts of permanent public art to the City of Baltimore. Meetings of the PAC are open to the public to observe.
Step into the refined ambiance of Sagamore Pendry Baltimore's Stakes Soirée, an exclusive affair set against the backdrop of the Courtyard, from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. As the sun sets on Black Eyed Susan race day, guests are invited to embrace the essence of Race Day Chic attire and immerse themselves in the elegance of Preakness weekend. Join us for our newest family program: Stories & Art in the Galleries! Children will enjoy a story and complimentary age-appropriate art activity while viewing CAC's latest gallery exhibit. In conjunction with the Maryland Day celebration, we're reading "Bloom" a beautifully illustrated story about pollution and working together to solve big problems. After the story, children will be invited to make their own Jellyfish puppet.

Adolphus Hailstork’s love for viola shines in his Two Romances, played by Principal Viola, Chiara Kingsley Dieguez, and Ellen Zwilich’s love song to the violin, the Concerto for Violin & Orchestra, is performed by concertmaster, Audrey Wright.

Ella Fitzgerald was an iconic American jazz singer, sometimes referred to as the "First Lady of Song", "Queen of Jazz", and "Lady Ella". She is known for her purity of tone, impeccable diction, phrasing, timing, intonation, and a "horn-like" improvisational ability, particularly in her scat singing.

Charlotte's Web is based on E.B. White's loving story of the friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a little gray spider named Charlotte. Wilbur has a problem: how to avoid winding up as pork chops! Charlotte, a fine writer and true friend, hits on a plan to fool Farmer Zuckerman. She will create a "miracle." Spinning the words "Some Pig" in her web, Charlotte weaves a solution which not only makes Wilbur a prize pig but also ensures his place on the farm forever.
