Second Saturdays- Free Family Art Making
On the Second Saturday of each month the Baltimore County Arts Guild offers a free family art making activity for artists of all ages. No registration is required. See artwork on exhibit and create artwork of your own. Different activities each month. Clay, collage, pastels, painting, printmaking, sewing.... Develop creative problem solving abilities, and improve communication skills while having lots of fun!

Jim Paulsen------‘Demonstration of Making a Two Piece Plaster Mold of a Clay Form”
Participants may wish to bring to this demo a clay sculpture and I will advise them on how it can be cast. Rubber Mold Making will also be discussed as well as materials that can be substituted for the clay and patinas and surface coloration.
Jim Paulsen was born in Iowa and grew up in Illinois. He has a BS from Western Illinois University, an MA from Northern Illinois University and an MFA from the University of Delaware. Jim is a Professor Emeritus from Towson University where he taught for 42 years and was head of the Sculpture Program.
Ariel Quartet
The Ariel Quartet, originally from Israel, has rapidly earned a sterling reputation for its bold versatility and soulful interpretations. Following its 2016 Carnegie Hall debut, the youthful group comes to Baltimore with a program of works by Schumann, Kurtág, and Beethoven.

We deconstruct buildings and homes, recycle and salvage usable materials, and make them available to the public in our 200,000 square foot retail space. With the revenue generated, we provide job training to those with obstacles to employment.
