Hang all the mistletoe and get to know some of Baltimore’s best independent artists better. Baltimore Plays returns with Marc Avon Evans & Soul Centered, Jamaal “Black Root” Collier, Karin Dominique Evans, Kyana Graham and Chuck the Madd Ox. They’ll be caroling through the night on a journey through 5 decades of soulful holiday classics. Shake a hand, shake a hand.

Renowned gospel singer and twelve-time Grammy® Award-winner CeCe Winans joins the BSO and the Morgan State University Choir in a rousing Gospel Christmas program of holiday favorites.
Broadway musical director Andy Einhorn leads the BSO and the Baltimore Choral Arts Society in an exciting new holiday pops program, highlighted by festive favorites from Broadway to American classics, the ever-popular tap-dancing Santas, an audience sing-along and a few musical surprises. The Meyerhoff Symphony Hall becomes a winter wonderland with pre-concert performances, holiday cookies and ornaments for sale. Join us for this celebration of the holiday season!

Creative Alliance and Charm City Klezmer are here to put you through the aerobic paces with our annual Holiday Klezmer dance party. ALL are welcomed for a night of FREE laughter @Flavor Restaurant in Mt Vernon. The Flavor of Funny comedy series is a once a month showcase of the DMV's best comedic personalities. This month will feature Dan Marse Kapr, Camilo Diaz, Nicki Fuchs, Garrett Harvest and Micheal Furr will be the headliner of this hilarious line up!! The space can only hold 75 people so get there early doors are at 7:30 and the show begins at 8:00pm
The BSO celebrates the great Leon Fleisher’s birthday in an extraordinary concert. Highlighting the program is Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12, a specialty of Fleisher's. Led by conductor Peter Oundjian, Brahms’ Second Symphony, full of beautiful melodies and one of the most exuberantly joyful finales, concludes the program.

Sophia has had it with the Christmas season: the chaos, the stress, the greed. But when she shows kindness to an old woman, she is whisked away to the Realm of Spirit, where she is given the true gifts of Christmas: Love, Peace, and Joy. Together they embark on an adventure to find her Christmas Spirit, but they are pursued by Malice, Chaos, and Sorrow, who will stop at nothing to make sure Sophia’s Christmas Spirit is lost forever.

After an EPIC show here this past year, Toureg god master, Mdou Moctar, returns to set the room ablaze.
Mdou Moctar stands apart from his peers. One of the few original singer/songwriters willing to experiment and push the boundaries of the genre, his unconventional styles have won him accolades both in Niger and abroad.
The Baltimore Improv Group has improv comedy shows every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7, 8 & 9 p.m. All Thursday shows are free. Friday and Saturday shows are $10.
