Joby Talbot Path of Miracles
Written in 2005 by British composer Joby Talbot for the noted ensemble Tenebrae, this 60-minute a cappella work is inspired by the Camino de Santiago, or Way of St. James, a traditionally Catholic pilgrimage to northern Spain whose popularity has exploded in recent years among believers and non-believers alike. It's written in seven languages and features a broad variety of singing styles, and has quickly developed a reputation for mesmerizing both singers and audiences.
