3rd annual BLACK CAT BALL

3rd annual BLACK CAT BALL

What could be more Halloween than Black Cats and Edgar Allan Poe? Nothing, that's what. Mark your calendars for the third annual Black Cat Ball at Mobtown Ballroom, benefiting Poe Baltimore and the Edgar Allan Poe House.

This year, the party will feature the award-winning, roof-raising sounds of The Grandsons, best described as "American music in a blender with the lid off." Make sure your costume allows for crazy dance moves, to the eclectic whirlpool of New Orleans rhythm and blues, rockabilly, swing and country two steps. (http://grandsons.com/index.shtml)

As if that isn't enough, we'll be announcing the candidates for The Next Poe Toaster, so you'll be able to say you were there when the new tradition began.

All this for just $15 (plus whatever you spend at the bar, where they know how to make a drink. Seriously.)

This is going to be a killer party - as in killer gorilla, buried in a wine cellar, dead under the floor-boards killer party. Don't you dare miss it.
