Maria Walker grounds her painting practice in the consideration of wood, canvas, and paint. A graduate of Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia, and Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, the internationally exhibiting artist has also attended Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture, New York, and is a recipient of a Belle Foundation grant.
