Steeped in the French heritage of Louisiana, Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys are arguably the greatest Cajun band performing today. Infectiously danceable with a creative approach, this will be the band’s first appearance in Baltimore in many years.

Steve Riley, of Mamou Louisiana, is a widely acknowledged master of the Cajun accordion and its singularly powerful sound. He founded this band over twenty-five years ago after playing and learning with some of the greatest Cajun musicians to grace Louisiana. His accordion playing combined with his searing, emotional vocals, songwriting, soulful fiddling and onstage front man charisma have helped catapult this group to the fore of the form. The Mamou Playboys are Kevin Wimmer on fiddle, Sam Broussard on guitar, Kevin Dugas on drums and Brazos Huval on bass.
