Chanticleer

Experience the rare magic of Chanticleer, whose seamless “orchestra of voices” has earned them multiple GRAMMY Awards and captivated audiences worldwide. As the USA celebrates its 250th birthday, Chanticleer is revisiting their 2002 album Our American Journey. In 2025 this album was inducted into the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress, which describes it as "inclusive in its celebration of the varied spirits and history of America."

Performed within the resonant sanctuary of First Lutheran Church, this program traces music’s influence across our country and includes "The Un-Covered Wagon," composed specially for Chanticleer; "I Hear the Siren's Call," showcasing composer Chen Yi's blend of Chinese and Western musical traditions; African American spirituals such as "Wade in the Water;" various forms of popular music; and much more.

With over one million recordings sold, Chanticleer’s extraordinary vocal blend creates a transcendent musical experience not to be missed.
