Carlos Rafael Rivera will give an ONLINE class/lecture on “Composing for TV and Film” on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon (GMT-5). The class will only be streamed to registered users.

Carlos Rafael Rivera is a Grammy and three-time Emmy winning composer and educator with a multifaceted career in Film, TV, and the Performing Arts. His work includes the critically acclaimed score for Netflix’s series THE QUEEN’S GAMBIT, one of the most-viewed Netflix limited series of all time; Apple TV’s series LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY and GRISELDA, as well as AMC Network’s MONSIEUR SPADE and the Netflix global hit DEPARTMENT Q.

Rivera’s film and TV scoring credits also extend to the Netflix limited series GODLESS, Universal Pictures’ A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES, CHUPA for Netflix, JUST BEYOND for Disney+, LA REINA DEL SUR 3 for Netflix/Telemundo, and HBO Max’s hit TV show HACKS.
