The Department of Dance proudly supports the artistic voices of our students, faculty, and alumni as we all come together for an eclectic and imaginative performance series. This community moment shares, uplifts, and celebrates dance at Towson University.
As part of this year's performance experience dance and sculpture in dynamic interplay from gallery through atrium to dance theatre as each space activates with unique artistic meaning. Knutson's choreography partners with the exquisite design of Yaniv's sculptural textiles expanding the concept of performativity in motion, vision and sound. The rich physicality of dance and visual art intersect to elevate the experience for the viewer as they join the exhibition performatively as audience collaborators.
