Join the Brian Kooken Trio at An die Musik as they perform to celebrate the release of their new album, "Groovin' On" !!

Brian Kooken has been performing jazz in the Baltimore/DC area since the late 80’s. A graduate of Towson University with a BA in Jazz Performance, Brian has gigged in various venues, some of which include Blues Alley, Caton Castle, Keystone Korner and An die Musik. He traveled abroad, playing in France and Cuba. A member of the Greg Hatza Organization, Brian is featured on several recordings.

Brian has recorded original material, including Visions (2004), A Minor Thing (2014), and Hit It (2020). Brian is debuting his most recent album, Groovin On, (2024).

Brian receives high praise whenever he performs. Jim Hynes, from the Elmore Magazine Review writes: “Kooken knows his way around the fretboard with precise single lines and great tone.”
