OpenMic is a monthly free community event where we encourage visitors to share their talents with their peers.

OpenMic events are a platform for artists, poets, comedians, and musicians to showcase their talents, build their confidence, and hone their skills in a casual and supportive environment. OpenMics are an excellent opportunity for both established and aspiring performers to gain experience, network with others in the industry, and receive valuable feedback. Perform your material for up to 10 minutes! Sign-ups are usually done on a first-come, first-served basis, and the host may set time limits to ensure that everyone has a chance to perform. The host has the right to enforce the Open Works code of conduct and cut short a performance if at anytime they find the performance to be offensive. At OpenMic, it is essential to be respectful of both the performers and the audience. This includes listening attentively, avoiding talking during performances, and refraining from heckling or making inappropriate comments. Performers should also be mindful of the Open Works code of conduct, time limit, and considerate of the other acts on the night. For audiences, open mic events offer a chance to discover new talent, support local artists, and enjoy a fun and entertaining night out.

PERFORMERS MUST SIGN CODE OF CONDUCT. NO PREREQUISITE OR MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED. Suggested donation of canned goods, non-perishables, &/or sanitation products to support our mutual aid efforts.
