Fig Factor Media Presents Latinas in Aviation Third Annual Global Festival
With a mission to voice their insights and opportunities they found within the American aviation industry, several Hispanic women pilots and authors will appear at Fig Factor Media's Latinas in Aviation Third Annual Global Festival on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation's College Park Aviation Museum and Airport in College Park, Maryland.
Held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the family-friendly event, a partnership with Fig Factor Media and College Park Aviation Museum, welcomes these pilots and authors who are featured in Fig Factor Media's "Latina in Aviation" books as they fly into College Park Airport which is also known as the Field of Firsts because it has held many "first" events. They will share their unique experiences and passion for aviation as well as participate in contributor author panels and presentations. Other activities include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, "Latinas in Aviation" book signings, mentorship circles, scholarship opportunities, and more.
