Oboe Lovers Tribute
Bach in Baltimore honors the life of oboist Leslie Starr on April 3 at 4 p.m. at Towson United Methodist Church, 501 Hampton Lane, Baltimore. Friends and colleagues--including Ronald Mutchnik, violin; Katherine Needleman, oboe, Sandra Lisicky, oboe, Michael Lisicky, oboe, and Bozena Brown, harpsichord--perform a stirring concert of instrumental works by works by Bach, Vivaldi, Albinoni & Viet Cuong (premiere).
