Would you like to draw a TIGER, BIRD, BUTTERFLY or GORILLA skull from direct observation? If so, come to The Natural History Society of Maryland’s monthly drawing sessions. Organized for people who enjoy drawing natural objects, this two hour session features several still life set ups plus smaller objects from the society’s natural history collections and natural objects found by our volunteers and naturalists.

This event is for any adult, from novice to seasoned artist.

WHEN: The 3rd Thursday of each month from 7 - 9PM

WHERE: The Natural History Society of Maryland, 6908 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD

WHAT TO BRING: Art supplies; hand lens or magnifying glass; BYO adult beverage or other refreshments

WHAT TO EXPECT: A relaxed, open drawing session; friendly people who love art and nature; and many interesting things to draw

COST: Free to members, $5 for non-members
