“A star in the making” (Seattle Pi), Jamaican-American violist, Jordan Bak, is an outstanding artist of passion, energy, and authenticity. The recipient of prizes at the Sphinx, Concert Artists Guild, and the Tertis International Viola competitions, Bak is a featured artist for WQXR’s inaugural Artist Propulsion Lab. He makes his Baltimore Debut with a program featuring works from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, led by Brahms’ enchanting and rarely heard Opus 91. A live concert streaming option will be available for registrants who cannot attend in person. $10 suggested donation.
