Record your oral history interview for the Stories from Baltimore Teens project to speak, learn, and save how different generations respond to living during the pandemic.

This Special Collections project wants you to document those responses by collecting first-hand accounts through oral history interviews between teens and their parents or guardians.

Created in the style of StoryCorps, the Stories from Baltimore Teens project is meant to encourage recordings that are part conversation, part listening, and all sharing of another's experience.

We can help you start, record, and save your interview with a package of guidance, instructions, and suggested questions that we can send to you.

Stories will be cataloged, archived, and can be made publicly available through the Pratt Library Oral History Archive. The Pratt Library Oral History Archive features recorded oral histories of the people and communities in Baltimore, in Maryland, and on the subject areas in Pratt Library’s Special Collections, African American, and Maryland Departments. Audio recordings, transcripts, and materials such as photographs are digitized for exhibit on Digital Maryland. Visit its inaugural collection, Maryland Rainbow Oral History Collection.
