The Alchemy of Art is a new cozy, contemporary art gallery located in Fells Point what showcases emerging and re-emerging artists of all mediums. The gallery is in the first floor of the converted convent and consists of 3 rooms. Two of the rooms are for gallery show space while the back room is the craft boutque. The art in the gallery rooms changes on a monthly basis with an open gallery evening the first Thursday of each month to introduce the community to the new art. The first Thursday night usually consist of the new display of the art with a local DJ or band. And to close out the show the gallery also has an evening event on the last sunday of the month to give people a chance to come out and check out the work also with live music. Craft boutique that carries a wide variety of hand made, predominantly local arts and crafts such as pottery, , hand made clocks, scarves, jewlery, and natural beauty products. And as of resent The Alchemy of Art has started showing independent movie in the courtyard. The gallery was recognized by online travel sight, The Culture Trip, as one of the Top 10 contemporary art galleries to see in Baltimore.
