Don your favorite festive hat or put on your favorite 1950s style clothing and head out to the 11th Annual Hats Off Fabulous ‘50s Tailgate Party set to take place on Thursday, June 17 beginning at 7 p.m. at Bengies Drive-In Theater (located at 3417 Eastern Ave., Middle River, MD 21220) to benefit the Hampden Family Center. The event will feature lively music from The Sons of Pirates, a hat contest, a silent auction and “drive-in inspired” food and beverages as well as a Sing-A-Long version of the movie “Grease.” Funds raised will support critical services and programs for Hampden residents such as adult literacy classes, senior luncheons, after school programs, preventative health services, summer enrichment camps and much more.
