“The Polar Express” Rolls Back into National Aquarium for the Holiday Season
Guests are invited to kick off the holiday season with a quick trip to the North Pole as “The Polar Express 4-D Experience” returns to National Aquarium’s 4-D Immersion Theater this winter. “The Polar Express 4-D Experience” is a 20-minute show based on the Caldecott Medal children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg.
Aquarium guests will join a doubting young boy as he takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. He embarks on an epic journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe.
The Aquarium’s 4-D Immersion Theater brings The Polar Express to life, allowing visitors to get close to the sights, smells, and sounds of the action. The theater is equipped with 4-D capabilities, combining the drama of a 3-D film with special sensory effects that will put you on the edge of your seat.
Climb aboard “The Polar Express 4-D Experience” for a wintery adventure that’s sure to warm your heart and make you believe.
