This October, schooners participating in the 25th annual Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race (GCBSR) will fill Baltimore’s docks. Racing to save the Bay, the schooners will sail to promote awareness of the Bay’s maritime heritage and encourage preservation and improvement of its natural resources.

On Wednesday, October 15, the Parade of Sail, a spectacular parade of schooners sailing from Baltimore Marine Centers at Lighthouse Point, around the Inner Harbor and back, will start at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to view the schooners from the Canton, Fells Point and Inner Harbor waterfronts.
