Join us for an hour of conscious movement and medicine music to help move and release any lethargic energies to guide you back to your spirit!
__
This time is to bathe our souls with deeply healing music that is lovingly paired with body movements to stir and uplift the heart! Such a beautiful gift to give yourself (and invite friends) to partake in.
__
ALiz will guide you through gentle movements, accompanied by the medicine music of sisters Sahffi & Shelly. We’ll then dance away any fears and resistance you may be experiencing, and then end with a short meditative moment.
__
There is full encouragement to wear something that makes you feel good, yet is also comfortable. Keeping water nearby is helpful too. Everyone participating in this event is invited to move as they feel guided, honoring our bodies exactly where they are in each moment. Feel free to sit still, sway, move in your chair, get up and move about, etc. There will be no technique attached to this offering. This is all about moving from the heart and letting the mind take a rest.
__
Love donations will be gratefully accepted!
Suggested donation is $0-$30.

About Liz:
Liz is a beautiful dancer flowing with great grace and delight. She embodies a deep nurturing approach to movement and dance. She loves being a conduit for sharing the joy for the spirit to ignite the heart and allow all movement (and stillness) to flow from there. What a gift to leave the mind behind and allow the soul to be nourished in this way. While Liz has been dancing much of her life, she gained a lot of wisdom from her 14 years of studying Eastern dance styles and culture, which are present in her movements, bringing a more well rounded offering to others. https://www.instagram.com/amrita_art_studio/

About the Sisters:
Sahffi & Shelly are real-life sisters who have been singing together since they were children, enjoying family sing-a-longs in harmony around campfires and making up songs in their play time. Sahffi is the oldest, and a full-time international singer/songwriter trained at the Peabody Conservatory. Shelly is a music and drama teacher at a prestigious private school on Capital Hill in DC, trained at the Shenandoah Conservatory. They have sung in bands together over the past 10 years and have worked on multiple recordings together. Their new album is due out later this year. https://www.sahffi.com

Sahffi, her sister Shelly Work and brother-in-law Sean Finn share their dress rehearsal for "Together@Home," their first online concert on April 25, 2020.
