“This performance is our contribution in highlighting the legacy and importance of August Wilson and his work, to the black theater community and the theater community at large.

So often many black playwrights are eclipsed by their work and the actors who give voice to it. This tribute, to August Wilson, will focus on connecting the voices that breathe life into his words with a heartfelt discussion on the impact that August Wilson has on our theaters, our actors and our culture

This is a live virtual experience. Put on your most comfortable pajamas, set up your smart TV or Laptop, get your favorite snacks, & join us LIVE!!!!!!

Tickets are pay-what-you-can & donations are encouraged.

This is our third in a series of virtual events. The Artist Exchange is doing our part to help our artists who are struggling to push through this global crisis. This is a difficult time for artists and many have lost work due to the COVID-19 crisis. The ticket sales will go to the artists involved in each production and a portion of the proceeds will go to local entrepreneurs that are also affected by this outbreak.
