Local, award winning classical guitarist Andrew Oswinkle, will be presenting a dynamic set of classical guitar favorites along with some lesser-known modern gems at the Cabaret. Andrew is currently finishing his Masters degree at Peabody Conservatory in Classical Guitar Performance under scholarship and recently placed as a finalist in the Philadelphia classical guitar competition in his first year trying his hand at competing. Andrew is an avid guitar teacher and performer in the Baltimore area, most recently performing at ArtScape, the Bach in Baltimore BachFest, and Peabody’s Friday Noon concert series, among other venues in the area. He has had the opportunity to receive masterclasses from many of the greats such as Manuel Barrueco, William Kanengiser, and David Russel, among others, which have greatly influenced his playing and he continues to develop his artistry by pursuing competitions in the coming year and taking on new and often unconventional venues.
