The Baltimore Chamber Jazz Society concludes its 2018-2019 season with a concert the Christian Sands Trio Sunday, May 5, 2019, 5 p.m., at the Baltimore Museum of Art (10 Art Museum Drive, Baltimore, MD 21218).

After a stunning performance in last season’s series, Sands is back in Baltimore by popular demand! Though not yet 30, Sands is one of the most in-demand pianists in jazz. In the last few years he has toured around the world as a bandleader and recently appeared as a sideman on records by Christian McBride and Gregory Porter. Sands takes a fresh look at the entire language of jazz: stride, swing, bebop, progressive, fusion, Brazilian and Afro-Cuban.
