Founded by pianist Xun Pan, violinist Simon Maurer, violist Agnes Maurer, and cellist Ai-Lin Hsieh, the members of the Pennsylvania Piano Quartet are the Artists-in-Residence at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China for the 2018-2019 season. Each musician brings a unique style into the ensemble. As part of their mission to introduce as many new works as possible for this particular combination, Pennsylvania Piano Quartet is committed to premiering and performing commissioned works by living composers. The Quartet is going to teach, perform, and make cultural exchange in several cities in China next summer.

The program will include:

-Mozart Piano Quartet in g minor
-Brahms Piano Quartet in c minor
-Selections from Mendelssohn Piano Trio in D Major
-Selections from Schoenfield “Café Music” for Piano Trio.
