“Arias Sacred and Profane”, featuring guest artists Clara Rottsolk (returning guest), soprano; Stephen Bard, oboe; and Leon Schelhase, harpsichord. Ms. Rottsolk, Mr. Bard, and Mr. Schelhase will be accompanied by PMR Artistic Director Allen Whear, cello and piccolo cello.

The program presents vocal and instrumental works by J.S. Bach and George Frideric Handel. Highlights include: arias from Handel’s Alexander’s Feast and Alcina, J.S. Bach arias from sacred cantatas and Cello Suite no. 5. Clara Rottsolk is a rising star who has been praised for her voice and perfect characterization of the music.
