New Day Campaign Reception & Presentation for Artists
Since June, the Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC) has hosted an exhibit of artwork by 17 Maryland artists whose work in some way depicts the hardships they face with behavioral health matters. The exhibit, entitled “Dusk & Dawn” is part of the New Day Campaign (http://newdaycampaign.org), an initiative dedicated to using arts programming and public engagement to challenge stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness and substance use.
The Campaign is looking for artists of all disciplines to participate in a new statewide initiative, the “Dusk & Dawn” series. Attend the New Day Campaign Gallery Reception followed by a Presentation about how you can participate in New Day Campaign's work and help promote healing through the arts.
