1st Anniversary Celebration –Lisa Viggiano – “Magic in the Night: A Tribute to the Artistry of Bruce Springsteen”

Join Lisa Viggiano, New York City based singer and BroadwayWorld Award winning artist, for an evening of music celebrating the artistry of the legendary Bruce Springsteen (well, *mostly* Bruce, with a few other musical surprises!). Lisa will be joined by internationally acclaimed guitarist, Sean Harkness, with musical arrangements by Matt Scharfglass, and direction by Tanya Moberly.

Critics have hailed Lisa Viggiano as “magic”, “sublime”, “a powerhouse”! Coast to coast, this Broadway Award Winning artist, has performed as a singer/actor since she was a young child, sharing the stage and screen with talents such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Tom Hanks, Rita Moreno and Bonnie Raitt.

A veteran performer, Lisa has appeared in NYC at 54Below, Don’t Tell Mama, The Metropolitan Room, The Duplex, The Triad, Baruch PAC, and The Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City, The Palace of Fine Arts & The Herbst Theatre in San Francisco, and The Gardenia in Los Angeles. She has appeared as the National Anthem vocalist for the NJ Devils, NY Rangers and the NY Mets. By day, Viggiano uses her voice as a speech-language pathologist for special needs students, helping them to find their own voices!

Recordings include the original cast recording for the musical “Oh Progeny!”, “Evening Prayer” as well as her critically acclaimed live cabaret CD, “One Private Moment”. Lisa shares another creative hat; that of lyricist. Following the birth of her sons David & Sam, she joined composer Christopher Marlowe in penning and recording vocals on “Keepsake Lullabies”, a thirty-minute suite of personalized songs designed to put children to sleep, which can be found on iTunes.
