Blues Artist Frank Bey & Clips from upcoming documentary "When You Ask Me How I Feel"

Blues Artist Frank Bey & Clips from upcoming documentary "When You Ask Me How I Feel"

Three-time nominated Blues Foundation Best-Male Soul and Blues singer Frank Bey shows why this “Southern Gentleman of the Blues” is expected to garner much adulation and many awards for his new Blues CD, Back In Business. Produced in Nashville by Tom Hambridge, one of the most sought-after writers and producers in the field today (Buddy Guy, James Cotton, Ruthie Foster, Keb Mo, Delbert McClinton, B. B. King, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Susan Tedeschi), Frank’s recording autobiographically captures many experiences from his long and storied life.

Frank with his eight-piece band, including background singers, will perform new songs from Back In Business as well as chestnuts that he loves and has shared with his audiences during the past 50 years.

Called “an American Treasure” by some first-time listeners, Frank’s singing and music will entertain you, inspire you, and send you home feeling better about the world.

Join Film Director, Director of Photography, and Writer Paul Hinson and Executive Producer and Writer Tom Dwyer at 8pm, before Frank’s performance, to see a special teaser created for this event taken from footage that the team has shot during the past 2 years as it followed Frank across the globe, around his neighborhood, and into his home. Tom and Paul will be available after the performance to answer questions about working with Frank, working on this film, and the rewards and challenges that such a project entails.

Final encore at Tremblant International Blues Festival, July 2014.
