As part of the 2018 Artscape Gallery Network, Make Studio is pleased to host the exhibition Viewfinding, an exhibition featuring paintings and sculptural works by Sondheim Prize applicant Hannah Leighton and a selection of recent works from Make Studio’s program artists.

For Viewfinding, Leighton plays with changing perspectives as she strives for freedom by tapping into the act of making in a unself-conscious way to achieve pure expressions. She loves how liberated and open Make Studio artists are in their own expressions and development of ideas through art.

Viewfinding opens Friday, June 1st, 2018 at Make Studio’s Showroom Gallery in the Schwing Art Center, 3326 Keswick Rd., Baltimore, MD, with an opening reception from 6:00 -9:00 pm, during First Fridays in Hampden, featuring remarks from Hannah Leighton and drawing from life activities with The Drawing Zoo. The reception is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. The exhibition will remain on view, through July 7th, during Make Studio’s weekday hours or by appointment.
