Baltimore Korean Movie Series: New World

Expanding Korean arts and culture in the Baltimore region, the Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. presents a free series of recent and milestone Korean films at Parkway Theatre, featuring a critically acclaimed blockbuster each month in partnership with the Maryland Film Festival! The series launches with a screening of the star-studded, gritty crime thriller New World on April 12 at 7 p.m.

SNF Parkway Theatre

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Parkway is a 3-screen movie theater located in the heart of the Station North Arts and Entertainment district, and is the year-round home of the Maryland Film Festival. It features a breathtaking 414-seat auditorium in the original Parkway Theatre (c. 1915), two smaller 80-seat theaters, state of the art projection and sound, and locally sourced concessions and a ground-floor bar lounge.

The SNF Parkway’s curated, bold programming showcase films from every era, region, and genre, with a focus on independent, international, documentary, classic, and cult-favorite films, providing audiences with a fresh and immersive new window into the art form.
