This annual event commemorates McDaniel College’s 150th anniversary with readings by McDaniel alumnae poets Karen Uschold Meadows and Melissa Atkinson Mercer. Meadows, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree from McDaniel in 1999, has her first published collection of poems, “Almond, Eyeless,” due out in Feb. 2018. Mercer received a bachelor’s degree from McDaniel in 2010 and is the author of the chapbooks “Storm Was her Voice” and “After the Miracle Season.” Call 410-857-2530 for more information.
