FACULTY BIENNIAL 2018

The Julio Fine Arts Gallery at Loyola University Maryland presents the “2018 Faculty Biennial,” an exhibition of work by the Visual Arts Faculty in the Department of Fine Arts. Painters, sculptors, photographers, printmakers and 3D printers are showcased. Each has his or her own perspective and mode of expression but there is a delight in and a concern for the world evident throughout.

Participating in the exhibit are Damon Arhos, MFA, Affiliate Professor of Studio Art; Mary Beth Akre, MFA, Associate Professor of Studio Art; Kim Banister, MFA, Julio Fine Arts Gallery Director; Kyle Bauer, MFA, Affiliate Professor of Studio Art; Billy Friebele, MFA, Assistant Professor of Studio Art; Chip Irvine, MFA, Visiting Assistant Professor of Photography; Christopher Lonegan, MFA, PhD, Affiliate Assistant Professor of Studio Art; Janet Maher, MFA, MA, Associate Professor of Studio Art, Studio Art Program Director; Jon Malis, MFA, Assistant Professor of Photography; Janet Olney, MFA, Affiliate Professor of Studio Art; Dan Schlapbach, MFA, Associate Professor of Photography, and Photography Program Director; and Mary Kunaniec Skeen, MFA, Affiliate Assistant Professor of Photography. Dan Schlapbach is the Chair of the Fine Arts Department which in addition to Visual Arts also includes Art History, Music and Theatre.
