In conjunction with Jim Condron's exhibit, Picking Up the Pieces, Ann Landi, NY art critic, will join us via Skype. We hope not only to talk about Jim’s work but also talk about what’s happening in art and what’s happening in the Baltimore art scene. Landi was previously an editor at ARTNews and wrote for the Huffington Post and The Wall Street Journal. She now runs the website Vasari21, which is for artists and about artists. She is a great supporter of artists and would love to answer your questions.

Condron's show includes more than 35 works of art. The artist draws on humor and memory, and finds unexpected beauty in juxtaposing everyday objects and cast-off remnants with the traditional medium of paint. He is a 2017 recipient of a Pollock Krasner Foundation grant, an Adolf and Esther Gottlieb Foundation grant and a Maryland State Arts Council grant for sculpture.
