Join us for the 4th Annual Doors Open Baltimore Kick-Off Lecture!

Morgan State University Professor Dale Glenwood Green will present research findings on the Life and Legacy of Maryland’s early African American architects. This lecture will showcase Maryland’s African American architects who practiced prior to 1970 with a special focus on their education, experience and emergence.

Dale Glenwood Green is a Professor of Architecture and Historic Preservation at MSU’s School of Architecture + Planning and developed the seminar course that focuses on African American architects. Green earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and Environmental Design from Morgan State University, a Masters of Architecture and Historic Preservation from the University of Illinois at Urban-Champaign and a Ph.D. ABD in Architectural Studies in Historic Preservation from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He is a Partner with Sulton Campbell Britt & Associates, P.C. an Architecture, Historic Preservation, Planning and LEED consulting firm based in Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD.

The lecture will be held in the auditorium of the Earl G. Graves School of Business & Management at Morgan State University, with the support of the Morgan State University School of Architecture + Planning.
