Flow Fess (formerly Pangea Fest)

Flow Fess (formerly Pangea Fest)

Flow Fess (fmr Pangea Fest) brought to you by the creative minds at Invisible Majority, this mini music and art day festival represents artistic unity and excellence amongst the underground music and art scene in Baltimore and beyond in a fun, free and relaxed atmosphere. For the past 2 years it was hosted at the Ynot Lot in the Station North Arts Community. This year the choice was made to move the festival to German Park in Reservoir Hill, connecting with Reservoir Hill Improvement Council.

Music Stage
The past 2 years the festival hosted some of Baltimore’s coolest collectives showcasing their best talent. The Incredible Creation, Our Nature, Llamadon, Electric Llama and The Odd Flowers to name a few. Theaudience enjoyed reggae, hip hop, soul, funk by BLAQSTARR, Joy Postell, :3lon and many others. Headlined by legendary emcee Jean Grae. Between performances were local beatmakers and DJs. This year we'd like to continue the tradition, taking advantage of Reservoir Hill's rich artistic fabric. Many musicians and visual artists live in the neighborhood and we want to make sure they are incorporated. German Park already has a gazebo that's perfect for a stage. For this we sound equipment, lighting and an A/V professional.

Artist Market (sponsored by Deeply Heard)
We’re all about showcasing and supporting the independent creative economy of Baltimore. Previous vendors included Remain Infinite, a clothing company from New Jersey, jewelry makers Sarah Juanita Creates and New Vintage by Sam.

Youth Art & Entrepreneurship Expo (sponsored by Baltimore's Gifted)
This year we're introducing a brand new portion to the festival! A station where youth artists and showcasing their work and have the opportunity to hear from arts professionals. There will also be a back to school give away!

Crafting
This is really all about art and fun. We’re looking to have a tent full of purposeful and engaging visual arts workshops. We've hosted FORCE with quilt making and Baltigurls with vision boarding.

Fitness (Sponsored by the Rising Mama)
Last year we introduced a fitness component, opening the festival with a fitness demo and yoga. We look to continue this, possibly collaborating with The Rising Mama, located in the area.

Green Light Installation
This year we've invited engineer and media artist Poses VR to install a project where plants will be used to conduct electricity. For this we need basic electrical supplies.

Fun Zone
We want FLOW FESS to have that super fun, relaxed atmosphere similar to being at a cookout, picnic or playground. We’re looking to have bouncers, trampolines or whatever crazy juvenile thing we can think of. Great thing about German Park is that there's already a playground to help make it fun for everyone.

Zine Zone
Zines, bloggers and the like have become an essential driving force in legitimizing Baltimore’s art scene and giving it a representative voice. We have a section dedicated to them. We've hosted True Laurels, Electric Llama and The Odd Flowers showcased their zines and lead participants in various activities.

Food and Drink
Food and alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Dovecote Cafe has been a partner and we'd like to incorporate them and other residents. Whitelock Farm as well.
