In conjunction with HONFEST, Make Studio is pleased to host its own community mini-festival, Signs of Summer, to celebrate the Hampden neighborhood. Signs of Summer will offer hands-on art activities, including demos of traditional hand-lettering techniques, the opening of an exhibition featuring work by the participants of our recent workshops for young people, musical performances, and refreshments. In addition, Make Studio will unveil new hand-painted signage. We're also pleased to partner with the Artscape Gallery Network, kicking off this year's season with a party at Fleckenstein Gallery next door from 5-8PM! Signs of Summer is Saturday, June 10th from 3pm-8pm at Make Studio’s Showroom Gallery in the Schwing Art Center, 3326 Keswick Rd., Baltimore. The mini festival is free and open to the public. Drop by at your convenience and stay for as long as they'd like to join the fun!
