Sundays At Three presents Beau Soir Ensemble (flute, viola and harp)

Beau Soir Trio (David Lonkevitch, flute, Jennifer Ries, viola, and Michelle Myers Lundy, harp) is a Washintongton DC-based ensemble that has perfomed at venues and acclaimed concert series in the DC and Baltimore area, including the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage, since 2007. The trio won the 2014 Montpelier Arts Recital Competition.

The trio is known for its exciting performance style, diverse programming, and its interaction with the audience, which includes fascinating information about the the music and descriptions of performance techniques. Beau Soir Ensemble’s goal is to make classical music accessible and enjoyable, inspiring a new generation of music lovers.

Beau Soir's program for Columbia's Sundays At Three series will include Claude Debussy’s Children's Corner Suite, Arthur Foote’s At Dusk, Gareth Woods’ Forbidden Gates, J.S. Bach’s Trio Sonata in G, BWV 1038, and Marjan Mozetich’s Goodbye My Friend, triptych for flute, viola and harp.

Anyone age 17 and under is admitted free with an adult.
