BALTIMORE, MD – More than 1,000 of America’s highest-ranking DanceSport athletes will compete for national championship titles in Baltimore, Mar. 31 through Apr. 2, 2017 at the 37th annual USA DANCE 2017 National DanceSport Championships, to be held at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel and organized by USA DANCE, Inc., the National Governing Body for DanceSport in the United States.

For three days in Baltimore, USA Dance will also host the World DanceSport Federation’s Open World Ranking Tournaments for two of America’s most competitive divisions, attracting competitive couples from around the world.

This is a fantastic opportunity to watch DanceSport and experience the excitment of dance live! Ballroom Dancing has become more known through Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You can Dance.

Event organizer USA Dance is a member organization of the U.S. Olympic Committee and of the 92-country World DanceSport Federation (WDSF). USA Dance is the USOC-recognized National Governing Body for DanceSport in the United States, and as such is the only USA organization with authorization to select athletes to represent the USA at the WDSF World Championships, part of the Olympic movement.

Matinee Sessions begin at 9 am on Friday and 8 am Saturday/Sunday. Evening Sessions begin at 7:30 pm and conclude after 11 pm.
