Porcelain Jewelry
Gayle Friedman | Wednesdays 1:00 - 4:30pm | September 14 - October 5
In this class students will explore using porcelain to create unique pieces of jewelry. The course will cover basic techniques for working with porcelain including handbuilding, simple molds, texturizing and making porcelain beads. Students will design and craft their pieces during the first two classes. These pieces will then be fired so that during the last two classes students will be able to transform them into finished works by incorporating other materials, such as metal, cord, stones, and found objects. No experience necessary.
